Amory Issues Warning About Car Break Ins

AMORY (WCBI) – Amory Police are putting out a word of caution after a series of auto burglaries in the city.

The burglars are working the graveyard shift and hitting cars between midnight and 5 AM.  Amory Police say a few tips can greatly reduce your chance of being a victim and greatly increase their chances of finding the suspects.  They include always locking your car doors, don’t leave any valuables in sight, turn on an outside light at your home or business, tell police or a trusted neighbor if you are gong tobe out of town for an extended period of time and report any kind of unusaul activity no matter how small it may seem.
