COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) — Some of Columbus’ finest sharpened their skills Tuesday.

Officers with the Columbus Police Department practiced maneuvering their motorcycles through a number of obstacle courses. With the addition of four units to the force officers feel the motorcycles will make response time to calls quicker. The motorcycles also make maneuvering through traffic easier for patrolmen. The new division of the Columbus Police Department is made up of officers Paul Garret, Raymond Hackler, Joseph Strevel and Kenny Brewer.
