PRAIRIE, Miss. (WCBI) – October is Breast Cancer awareness month and one post office is keeping their community informed.
Prairie Post office held the 2nd annual Breast Cancer event. The event kicked off with a motorcycle ride then followed by live entertainment and other fun activities. Food and beverages were for sale to raise funds for breast cancer research. For one post office employee, she says this event is the post office’s way of showing support.
“It shows the community support and we want the community to know and the world to know that we do support Breast Cancer awareness and we want to find a cure for it,” says Twanda Tate.
