“Stop The Knock” Enforcement Period In Starkville Nets Several Felony Arrests

STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) – Several felony arrests are made this weekend during Starkville Poilce Department’s “Stop The Knock” campaign.

In one stop, Starkville Police officers arrested 24-year-old Skyler Conwill of Hamilton, 33-year-old Travis Carother of Prairie, and 22-year-old Jesse Black of Steens.

Conwill is charged with possession of a stolen firearm, DUI, and possession of paraphernalia, and he was taken to the Oktibbeha County Jail and given a bond of $6,555.25 dollars.

Carother is charged with felony possession of a controlled substance and resisting arrest.

He was taken to the Oktibbeha County Jail and given a bond of over $10,444.25 dollars.

Jesse Black was also charged with felony possession of a controlled substance.

He was taken to the Oktibbeha County jail where he was given a bond of$5,000 dollars.

All three men will make their initial appearances in front of a judge Monday night at 6:00 pm.
