Video: Mississippi Coaching Legend Shares Message of FCA

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) -A Golden Triangle Coaching legend spoke to the Columbus Rotary Club Tuesday.

These days Bubba Davis serves as an assistant football coach at Starkville Academy, but his career spans over 4 decades and 4 state championships..

Davis shared his experience with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and how the program has changed his life.

He explains how F.C.A. works and how they get coaches involved with the program.

“We like to be involved with the coach. Get them so they will sponsor huddles, where they can have the kids come in, so they can deal with them, with the things that we provide for them, resources. We have camps. The camps we provide combines, rallies. The different things that we are trying to sponsor.”

The program is statewide, and this area program Davis is involved with is housed at Mississippi State.
