COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) — Mississippi School for Mathematics and Science students are among the best and brightest in the nation. And they have the numbers to prove it.
The 2014 graduating class has been offered more than $20 million in scholarships. That’s up almost $7 million over last year.
School officials say they’re still waiting for a handful of students to report their rewards, so that amount could increase.
For the past two years, MSMS has been listed by “Newsweek” and “The Daily Beast” as one of the best high schools in America.
