TUPELO, MISS. (WCBI) – A Tupelo based ministry is celebrating its work around the world. Global Outreach held its first ever “Global Gathering” at the Tupelo Furniture Market.
It was a chance for ministry staff, their families, friends and some missionaries who work around the world through Global Outreach, to have a time of fellowship and encouragement.
The event is a warm up of sorts to the ministry’s annual missions conference. Organizers say the ministry keeps growing and volunteers play a key role.
“Volunteers is the backbone of our organization, we wouldn’t be where we are now without people coming and working alongside us, monetarily, or with the projects that we;ve done , the building projects, different things we have been involved building hospitals, conferences, clinics, you name it,” said Pete Gibson of Global Outreach.
Missionaries from around the world will be at the conference Friday at the Tupelo Furniture Market. For more information go to www.globaloutreach.org
