STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) – The Dog Dash benefit got to a great start on Mississippi State’s North Farm in Starkville.

Alpha Psi Veterinary Fraternity at MSU hosted the second annual dash to raise money for Safe Haven to provide care to pets owned by women who leave abusive situations to find safety at shelters. Participants were able to bring their pets and enjoy a 5K race or a 1 mile fun walk.

All proceeds gathered from the race will be donated to Safe Haven for Animals.
