Tupelo, Miss. (WCBI)- Roads were slippery in parts of Yalobusha, Calhoun, and Lafayette Counties this morning. Several motorists ended up in the ditch after sliding off icy roadways in the area. Wintry Mix Causes Multiple Wrecks, Power Outages

A mix of sleet, freezing rain and snow moved through parts of the area this morning causing slippery roads and numerous accidents to occur Friday morning. The Mississippi Highway Patrol office in New Albany said they responded to over 40 vehicle accidents along I-22 between Tupelo and Holly Springs.  There were no injuries reported in any of those crashes.  They…
