Starkville officers were doing a security check on J.L. King Park early Saturday morning when they found Forshee and another person in a car. 

Lowndes County detectives said the woman was also held against her will and not allowed to a home on Highway 69.

Wednesday, Circuit Court Judge Kelly Mims sentenced Lee to life in prison.

Lee County Coroner Carolyn Green said 27-year-old Toyrriius Lockridge of Tupelo died at the hospital.
