Scott Brown is a recent graduate of Mississippi State University’s meteorology program. A
Tennessee native, he was born and raised in Murfreesboro, TN before moving to Starkville, MS
for college. Scott has loved his time in Mississippi and he is excited to continue his journey in
Northeast MS. Scott is now pursuing a Master’s degree in meteorology at Mississippi State; he will
begin his studies in the fall of 2025. The weather has always fascinated Scott and being a
meteorologist has always been one of his biggest goals. He is so grateful for his time at MSU and
to be joining the WCBI community. Scott joined the WCBI weather team in July 2025.
